Devin graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydro Therapy. While there he had the opportunity to treat multiple conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Muscle Contractures, Post Surgical Joint Replacements, Palliative, and Sports Injuries from a wide variety of clients.
During the course of the program Devin focused in Sport Massage, where he treated clients with sports-related injuries ranging from Golf, Volleyball, Cross-Fit, Skate Boarding, Dancers, and Singers.
Aside from Massage Therapy Devin is also a Professional Musical Theater Dancer. With some credits: Angel/Ensemble "Kinky Boots", Magic Carpet "Beauty and the Beast", Dancer/Tumbler "Dance Legends" (Drayton Entertainment), Angie the Ox/Dance Captain "Guys and Dolls" (The Capitol Theater), Freddie Herko in "Andy Warhol Musical: In Rehearsal" (Toronto Fringe Festival), Andrew Edwards "VHS94" (Film/TV) and Dance Captain for Disney Cruise Lines.
Being a dancer he is very in tune with the human body and what the body needs when it starts to get stressed and tight. Devin focuses on using Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation , Fascial Stretch, Trigger Point, Stretching and MLD (Manual Lymphatic Drainage) techniques to relieve the stress and have you getting off the table ready to perform a 2 hour show.
Haru is a 15.6 lbs. pure bred Havanese which are Hypoallergenic. Haru is a friendly and affectionate little bundle of joy and loves to be near people all the time. She has been trained to be Therapy Dog from PetSmart and is very eager to join you on the table as you relax and destress.
Being in the presence of dogs has been scientifically proven on multiple occasions to help relief from Stress, Anxiety, and helps lower Blood Pressure.
During the appointment Haru will meet you at the door and sit with you on the table as we discuss what is needed for the day. While face down getting the treatment Haru can either be laying between the legs or on the ground near the face cradle for you to pet. When face up you also have the option to have her lay between the legs.
If you don't want to have her on the table she will be in her bed the whole time.
